Create & modify alerts

Create alerts to be notified when the river level at a specific station drops above or below an important level.

Note: you can create and edit alerts from either the station chart or the enhanced chart.

1

Create a new alert

Select the station (from dropdown) that you want to create the alert for and then click on the Create Alert button. Select the river level that you want to be alerted for.

2

Configure alert settings

Choose whether you want to be alerted for the river level crossing above or below your threshold value and whether or not the alert should include both the actual and forecasted values (or either one).

You can also choose to be notified via email, in-app, or both. Note: if you select only in-app notifications, you'll only be notified if the app is open in a browser window and you're logged in.

Finally, you can choose how many times the alert is triggered -once versus every time -as well as an expiration date for the alert. Note: if you select every time for alert triggering, you may receive a new notification every day if the actual or forecasted river level meets the criteria that you selected.

Click on the Done button to save your settings and create the alert.

3

View, edit, and delete alerts

After your alert is created, the settings menu will close and return to the chart, which will show your alert as a horizontal line with its value on the right axis.

You can click on the alert's value in order to re-open the settings menu and modify or delete the alert.
